But our family has really grown closer through the "dessert" path.Sprittibeehttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07992769339576987845noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646552345065536552.post-22200106729207177832008-05-09T05:40:00.000-04:002008-05-09T05:40:00.000-04:002008-05-09T05:40:00.000-04:00In the back of my mind I have been struggling with...In the back of my mind I have been struggling with some what I would do if my daughter wanted to go to public school. We had to really listen and replace those things which he felt that were missing with other positive things.Kyshahttp://www.blogger.com/profile/10646274974909821874noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2646552345065536552.post-87438802812976657342008-05-08T12:34:00.000-04:002008-05-08T12:34:00.000-04:002008-05-08T12:34:00.000-04:00Well written Gina. When I switched to homeschool, I saw who my true friends were, because they continued to reach out to me (and I to them) and our friendships continued on. I also made friends with people in my homeschooling group- amazing people I wouldn't have met in public school!

There were definitely times I felt lonely, but, as this woman said, I drew closer to my mom. Previously, I was a "daddy's girl", and this experience made Mom and I build something beyond a parent-child relationship. I believe it was the foundation for the great friendship we have now!MandyMom.comhttp://www.blogger.com/profile/14259605619391239854noreply@blogger.com
