From Our Readers

This message came at such the right time! It is a lesson that I have to learn over and over again, I am ashamed to say. Fortunately, our God is so patient. He lovingly reminds me that I was made for His love. Again. And again. And again.
~ Laura

It is like you wrote this just for me! Okay, I know you didn't...there are so many of us who struggle with this area! ... Thank you for writing this post. I am going to print this out and stick it in my Bible. I need to read it a few more times.

Thank you for such a beautiful post that has come at such a perfect time. This post has strapped me with something powerful to pass on to her at such a time as this.....
~ Stacy

I am now armed with new information, presented in a clear and concise way - thank you!
~ Katrina

Great tips, and simple too! Those are the best! My husband likes it when I greet him at the door and ask him how his day was, although I'm not always good about doing it.
~ Andrea

Thank you for this post. I'm going to try to put a lot of these ideas into action in my own afternoon/evening routine. I especially like that you pray he will leave inappropriate thoughts and moods at the door. I can't imagine what a difference it would make in our home if my husband did not bring work home with him every night.

What a great blog, very meaty and attractive. I will be saving this one for my favorites to come back and visit. Thanks for sharing so much with the rest of us.

The 'real' me simply loves the 'real' you. : ) I am honored to be on this journey with you, my kindred spirit. You're so right, we all need someone to be real with. Satan has too many myths floating around out there that can make us second guess ourselves, doubt our abilities, and cloud our reasoning like a thick fog. 'Real' friends make ALL the difference. : )

I'm so relieved to have grown to a new *real* place in my life. And I love Gina's comment...the more I discover who *I* am in Christ, the more freeing being *real* is which allows me to be extend more grace to my children to be *real* and unique just as God created each one of them.

Thanks so much for the great information! We do a sort of unit study with lap books in our co-op each month, but I've never tried it completely at home (with ALL the subjects). I definitely will now!

Great tips! Imagine the blessings we will become to our children when we honor the dad, our husbands with these little ideas. Thank you and H.U.G.G.s,

Awesome post! I love the prayer. I am printing that out! Thanks for sharing!

Very neat! Thanks for enlightening me. You are inspiring...
~ Wendy

Wow! You sound like me! Even my husband thinks I'm a bit weird. In fact, I sent him this link to read your post to show him that I'm not the only one who thinks like this. :-)
~ Andrea

Great post! Sometimes when we are watching those "Little House" movies, I find myself longing for those days, but then I come back to real life and appreciate my computer, washing machine, microwave, etc. I think finding a slower pace without losing the amenities would be wonderful! Is it out there?!?
~ Brumbemom

This was hilarious! Oh, how I used to talk about the people who did the "weird" things I now find myself doing.......it's almost funny.
~ Brenda

WOW - This is marvelous - you know we are called to be peculiar people - why not really do it right?
~ Leisha

Hi, our family is pondering this idea of homeschooling our children, and so I thank you for this post.
